Still fooling around with the waterfall and stones...
Finally satisfied with it (for now).
Next year, we'll move some rocks around to create holes where we can
put some interesting plants. You can see some of the nice grasses
along the edge now. Oh yeah, we'll probably toss some "real" fish
in there too... you can't see them, but there is a thriving minnow
population in there now.
The waterway from the upper pool now has flat stone underneath
so you no longer see the liner. This looks much more natural.
On the longer flat stones, a nice sheath of water shoots over the top
and little water falls are created as the water pours from stone to
stone eventually making its way into the pond.
